Twitterpated Patchwork

Here is the card that I have sent to Maria Miia Malmgren in Sweden,
as part of the Post Crossing Handmade Cards swap.

I have used my two favourite papers from the Twitterpated DSP and cut them up into 1.1/4" squares,
then patch-worked them together again and then embossed the piece in the
Textured Impressions Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
I stamped the sentiment from the You Are Loved stamp set onto a piece of
Twitterpated DSP then punched with the extra large oval punch.
I embossed the Baja Breeze frame with the Textured Impressions Designer frames
embossing folder, then fussy cut this out.
The butterflies were die cut with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die.
Tiny Basic Rhinestones were used for the Butterflies bodies.
I put some spare butterflies inside the card for when Maria opens it - they will "fly"out!
Hope that Maria like this!

A teabag caddy.

Here is another of the projects that we made at our shoe box swap the other week.
This tea bag caddy was shown to us by Karen Fagelman (no blog so can't post a link)
I am really pleased with how it turned out - and can you see the tea bags in their little fancy packets peeping out of the bottom??  The base colour was Cherry Cobbler and the DSP was Twitterpated - which is one set of papers you will still be able to get when the new catalogue launches in October.

Twitterpated Blossom

Here's a card that I have unashamedly CASEd from  my SU mummy Julie's Blog
Although mine is not as fancy as hers, I still love it.
This Twitterpated DSP is so lush - I keep using it!!
Colour Combo for this card is Blushing Bride, Baja Breeze and Whisper White
I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and made the Happy Birthday Banner
using the Curly Cute stamp-set. I then punched two flowers with
the Blossom Punch - one in Blushing Bride and one with Twitterpated DSP.
I put a tiny Twitterpated matching Designer button in the centre of the flower,
then punched two leaves out with the Bird Builder punch.
The ribbon is3/8" Pleated Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon.

Thanks Julie!!

May thank you

Every month I make little thank you cards for my customers, and I don't write on them, then ,
if they wish, they can recycle them and send them to someone else.
Here is one of the ones that I made for this month.  Its very CAS, but I think effective.
Onto a White 10cm square card base, I have glued a smaller mat of Blushing Bride card stock,
that has been stamped with the swirl from Creative Elements in Riding Hood Red ink.
The flower has been punched using the Twitterpated DSP (is this not lush!!!) and the Blossom punch,
then smaller centres have been punched with the Boho Blossoms punch.
As I said before - simple but effective.
