Eileen's Challenge

On Tuesday Eileen brought along another challenge for me - and I took up the challenge then presented my Thursday class with the same challenge.
Here is Eileen's version - she loves the In Colours - so has used Peach Parfait with a touch of Pear Pizzazz.

Pretty in Pink and Soft Suede

Today I have been browsing Stampin Connections in search of inspiration and I came across a beautiful card by Cara Buckham that I simply had to case. I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and inked it with Pretty in Pink. The flowers are stamped from the Fast and Fabulous stampset in Pretty in Pink. The leaves were made from Soft Suede cardstock using the Little Leaves Sizzlet die. Embellished as usual with Basic Rhinestones and Whisper White Satin ribbon.

For You Yuki

This is the card that I made as a thank you for one of my Gilroyd Craft class ladies - Yuki. Just a little thank you for helping me out!
This card uses the Square Lattice and Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Cute by the Inch stampset, Beautiful Wings Embosslit and Whisper White and Marina Mist Cardstock. Embellished as usual with Basic Rhinestones.
Can you see the little antennae that I made from a sliver of white card??

Lisa's birthday

Today is yet another one of Julie's Jems birthdays - Lisa. Here is another version of the little birthday cards - like the one I sent to Sarah for Sunday, using the Decorative Label Punch to make a stencil shape and then stamping in the foliage using the "Pocket Silhouettes" stampset - the butterfly is from the "So Happy For You" set and the tiny flower is from the "Tiny Tags" set.

I'm back in a monochrome mood, and last night I played with my Embossing folders and came up with this little gem.
One of these embossing folders is not SU - can you spot which one??

Here is the second project that I demonstrated at the Quarterly Training day, a beautiful gift bag made using the instructions from the lovely Angela's blog here
Once again I have used the fabulous Jolly Holiday DSP and the Old Olive 3/8" Taffeta ribbon, with a Father Christmas Owl just to finish it all off.
Mmmmmmm - I like it!

Christmas Packaging

Here is the little Scallop Envelope Bigz Die used to make this little gift box/bag that was one of the projects that I demonstrated at last weeks Quarterly Training Event that my SU mummy Jules organised.
The theme was, of course Christmas, and I demonstrated 3 different projects.
The DSP used here is Jolly Holiday and the Cardstock used is Crumbcake and Cherry cobbler. Embellished with a brad and my favourite Champagne glass glitter. Voila!

This is the card that the Wednesday Class did yesterday, featuring the super Father Christmas Owl. Lots of fiddly little detail, but well worth it!!

Fox and friends

Today being Wednesday, Chris (S-i-l) and I have spent the day together crafting. Chris wanted to do a couple of Fox and friends cards that she had seen on Monica's Blog

This is the girly one that we made. Colours are Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, with a little Pear Pizzaz.Nursery Suite DSP and Pretty in Pink 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Tiny flower from the Itty Bitty Punch set.

Mandy's Birthday Card

On Friday, quite a few of the ladies from the Golf Club went to Crowle Golf Club and had a lovely day together. One of my golfing partners won, and I came 3rd - which surprised me as I have not been playing very well of late. On the day we celebrated Mandy's birthday, and here is the card that I made for her. The colour combo is Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla. The Fun Flowers Bigz die was used and the flowers were embossed using the Square Lattice embossing folder. DSP from the Brights stack was used for the background.
Yummy - good enough to eat!!

Terri's Birthday card

Saturday was one of my fellow Jems' - Terri's - birthday and I was really short of time, so I had to rummage in my birthday card box to find a suitable card to send her - this is the one that I chose to send her - using the great Crazy for Cupcakes stampset.

Christmas Buckle card

Yes it's the dreaded C word, but I really have got to start now and get these cards made rather than the usual Christmas mahem in December!!
I have used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and the Jolly Holiday DSP for this card. The Poinsettia is made using the 5 Petal Punch and embellished with Champagne Glitter Glass, the sentiment is from Contempo Christmas and the ribbon is Old Olive seam Binding.

Springtime Vintage Handbag

On Wednesday (as usual) Chris (sis-in-law) and I spent the day together crafting, and she showed me a little bag design that she had put together. Have a look at her version here

And here is my version. I have used Marina Mist Cardstock with the Springtime Vintage DSP and Baja Breeze Seam binding ribbon for the handle.

Catherine's Funky Four

Today is Catherine's birthday (one of my fellow Julie's Jems)so I have made this card to send to her. I am afraid that I totally lacked inspiration and did a straight CASE of a card that Jo Dumbleton did as a swap at convention last year, having said that I really do love this card - it has a bit of "Fantasia" about it.

Sympathy Card

I have had a hectic two days - golfing at the Forest Of Galtres Park (Wiggington - York) on Monday, then two craft classes morning and afternoon, and Golf in the evening yesterday! This golfing does get a bit tiring! Still I won't be playing again until Friday now, when we are playing at Crowle (Lincolnshire).
When I eventually got home last night I had a phone call from my sister Maggie to let me know that her M-I-L had passed away, so I have made this sympathy card for her and Gerald to let them know that our thoughts are with them at this sad time.

Its the one that uses the Hopeful Thoughts stampset and I have used the colour combo of Basic Black, Basic grey and Very Vanilla with Basic pearls in the centre of the flowers.
