One Sheet Wonders
Sorry for the lack of postings, I have been busy and I have been crafting, and over the next few days you will be able to see what I have done.
First of all my three craft classes have been making cards using the "One sheet wonder" stamping.
Mostly the stamp sets used were the "Greenhouse Garden" and "Simply said".
You can see above what the stamped A4 sheet looked like before being cut up into 14 pieces (this actually makes 2 sets of 4 cards - so it's quite economical to do!)
I will post examples of the finished cards later.
We were at a ladies night last night and Liz and Alan came back to ours, we have guests coming up from Norwich (Cheryl and Paul) later this afternoon, and we are out for an Indian meal tomorrow night for Stephens birthday - phew- but great fun.

Tuesday Cards
Well that's two more cards done. I have to do one for my nephew Stephen's birthday on St David's day, March 1st (He is called Stephen David!) It may take me a few days to get this one done - I need inspiration.
Tuesday Craft Class today went well - if a little lengthy. The ladies did 3 different versions of the one sheet wonder and they were all fabulous. I should have taken pictures of the finished results. I will email them and ask for piccies!!

The closure is Orchid Opulence card stamped with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder, using one of the SAB "Vintage Labels" stamps, and a boho blossom is punched and stuck in the middle.

Valentines' Dinner
Arty farty angle
On Saturday night Barry and I went out with friends to a Valentines' Dinner. All the ladies received a red rose (although Barry had already been to Morrisons and bought me the Valentines' special of a bottle of Rose Fizzy and a dozen roses - very nice!) We played a game of Mr and Mrs, and Barry and I came third out of 6 couples. We won a Valentine's Travel Alarm clock! The meal was delicious - I had salmon and it was to die for!
Last night Jane (si-in-law no2) came and spent the evening crafting with me. We cased some Easter cards. Jane is a teaching assistant and will use them for her pupils. I have been asked to do some Easter Cards for youngsters at an event that the local Lions are holding. These are our versions.
The rabbit is courtesy of Sarah
Thanks for making me the prototype of this Sarah.
The "good egg" is cased from stamping moments Thank you Jenny.

SWUS Project - A Good Egg
More Thank You cards.....
Here is a series of three cards that I made yesterday, using the same Designer Series Papers (Nouveau Chic), but I have used this on three different colour cardstocks - black, basic gray and sage shadow. Doesn't it change the appearance of the cards! I am quite pleased with these, and I have used one of them today, to send to a potential new customer, who has used the Internet DemoFinder to send a request for more info. Keeping fingers crossed for a result!
Tuesday Training with Julie
On Tuesday evening (after it had stopped snowing), I travelled up to Leeds to have a training session with my SU colleagues and my SU momma - Julie.
We had a great time and it was well worth the journey.
This is an example of a quick card that we can make and Julie showed us how to make her famous bow. It's a lot less complicatd than I thought. We used Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Tea and crumpets paper, a Sale-a-bration Whimsical Words sentiment and Chocolate Chip ink.
She also showed me how to photo edit, so I hope that you can now see a marked difference in the quality of the photos of my cards now. Let me know if you can see any difference.
Here comes the Easter Bunny
Here is a card that has been designed specially for me by my SU sister Sarah P. I have been asked by a friend who fundraises for a local "Lions" group, if I would do an Easter cards with a group of youngsters in March. Sarah creates fabulous animals using SU punches, so I asked if she could create either an Easter Bunny or an Easter chick for me. This is what she came up with.
Isn't it fabulous. I am sure the youngsters will love this (and I think some of us "older" children will love making it too!).
Thank you Sarah!

Bella Toile Tissue holder
As you can see I have been busy today (making up for not posting anything yesterday!!) Christine (S-i-l) has been over to me today and she has made the Bella Bleu desk calendar, a treat bag, the monochrome black and white (Get Well Soon) card
AND a tissue holder. I kept her very busy today. Myself I made the Cupcakes Crazy card, the Bella Toile thank you card and this tissue holder. I have had a lovely day.
Tonight most of my Wednesday Class have been unable to get to class because of the snow. Liz however got her husband to bring her and fetch her home (Clever girl!)
so she was given the choice of what to do.
As I had been using the Bella Toile stamp, I suggested that she used this stamp to make a birthday card and she chose to do it in pink. It is a fabulous card and I will post it before I go to bed!
Bella Toile thank you
This is another card that uses the Bella Toile stamp - this time in Brocade Blue ink on Very Vanilla cardstock matted onto Brocade Blue cardstock.
I really love this stamp and think that I am gonna have to buy it! (I have borrowed it from Sue and when she sees this she is going to want it back quick!)
Don't you just love it?

SWUS New Year Project 1 (Monica's)
Here are the cards that I have made today - in between unpacking and sorting the SU order, ferrying Barry to the garage, shopping and cooking!
Today SWUS New Year Online Classes featured a set of cards using the Greenhouse garden Stampset and I used Regal Rose,Rose red and Bravo Burgundy as my colour theme.
There should have been a tote bag to go with these, but I couldn't get the template to print.
