This evening I am off to Leeds to attend the Stampin' Up! UK Creative Tour event in Leeds.
I am going with my SU mummy Julie and really looking forward to it.
There will be other Demonstrators there and it's so good to get together,
there will be plenty of fun to be had!
Here is a sample of the swaps that I made.

Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack
Stamp sets : Greetings of the Season. Snowflake Soiree

Bird Builder Punch Christmas wreath

I do like to utilise my stamps and punches and so love to use an item for something
other than it's original purpose.
I received a swap a couple of years ago of a wreath made out of the wing
of the Bird Builder punch, so I thought I would give it a try with up to date papers and colours.

The colour combo is Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wassabi and White.
the stamp in the centre is from Snowflake Soiree
The sentiment is from greetings of the Season.
The papers are from the Seasons of Style DSP Paper Stack in the Autumn Winter Catalogue.
Once again I have used the fabulous Frosted Finishes Embellishments
for the centre of the snowflake.

Let it Snow Twinchie

Here's my latest Twinchie.
I was experimenting using various  colours of embossing powders.
I used White, Silver and then Pewter - not sure if you can tell which is the silver from the pewter.
I think that I quite like the lacy look.
The stamp is from Snowflake Soiree stampset (Stampin' Up)

I would like to enter this in the
Show us your Twinchies Challenge# 12 - Let it snow

Merry Minis

The inspiration for this card came from one that I received from an ex-work colleague
 - Liz L - who used to come to my Wednesday class.
I have not done much with the Merry Minis stamp set and punches,
so this was just what I needed!

The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze and Lucky Limeade
For the background I have stamped snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set in Whisper White.
I used a strip of paper from the Festival of Prints DSP paper stack.
The sentiments are from Petite Pairs
I used a Designer Naturals button, and tied a Cherry Cobbler
Bakers Twine Bow through it to finish this off.

Believe

Enough of Halloween, before we know it, it will be Christmas! Aaargh!!
Whilst I love Christmas, I never feel that I have prepared for it early enough
and this year is no exception.
What I said I would do is come up with a few new ideas for cards,
then make batches of them in various colours.
So here's the first one, which isn't strictly a new idea, but its a new snowflake
and a different colour and sentiment - so I suppose it does count!

The light is atrocious at this time of year and doesn't do it justice, but you can tell what it is.
The snowflake is from Snowflake Soiree stamp set (Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue)
I have stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Clear EP, then sponged
over with Pool Party ink, and finished off with the stamped sentiment
(also from Snowflake Soiree) in Pool Party Ink.
I might just add a Rhinestone in the middle (if it's not going through the post!)
