Beautifully Baroque Christmas

Here's the second one of the cards that I made at Chris's on Wednesday
using the fabulous Beautifully Baroque stamp - this time a Christmas card.

It's a 7 x 5 inch card (just to give you some idea of the size of the stamp).
Colour Combo is Night of Navy, Silver and White.
The flourish from Everything Eleanor was stamped in Versamark,
then heat embossed with Silver Embossing powder.
The entire stamp was then stamped onto the card using Versamark and heat embossed in Silver EP,
plus a further image was made in the same way on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock,
then the central section (the Bauble shape edged in blue) was fussy cut out.
Highlights of Night of Navy were added to this to make the bauble "pop" off the card,
then it was stuck on top of the original stamping with dimensionals to raise it.
A 1/4" Night of Navy Grosgrain ribbon bow was added to the top of the bauble.
There you have it - another Christmas card made.
(only another 73 to make!!)

Get Well Soon

No-one is ill at the moment, but I always have to make a get well card at short notice -
which when you think about it, it's not unusual is it!
We don't know in advance when we are going to be ill!
So, in readiness for the next poor soul who is ill, I have made a get well card.

Colour combo is Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.
I have used different flowers to those that I normally use from the
Everything Eleanor stampset, but I have teamed it up with a sneak peek
of some new DSP from the Spring/Summer Seasonal catalogue.

Gold and Silver Embossing

Today I have been trying to get a few more cards done so I decided to do a batch
of cards using the same stamps, but different coloured card stock and Embossing powder.
On all the cards, the flourish stamp is from Everything Eleanor.
and the sentiment is from Greetings of the Season stamp set.
All the cards have been generously shimmer spritzed - think you can just see this.

Carol's Card

Carol is one of my Thursday Craft Club ladies, and she needed a 70th birthday card
for someone special this week, so I came up with this design and here is Carol's finished card -
hasn't she done a magnificent job of this!!  I am sure her friend will treasure this.

The card base has computer generated border printed on it.
Colour Combo is Melon Mambo and Whisper White.
Background stamped using Creative Elements.
Flowers and label stamped using Everything Eleanor stamp set and cut out by hand.
Sentiment from Curly Cute - 70 is die cut.
A simple knot-less bow finishes it off.

A special birthday card

Sue - one of my Thursday crafting ladies, wants to make a card for a special friend tonight,
so I thought that they could make this one - I think that this is suitable.
The colour combo is Basic Grey, Regal Rose and Silver.
The RR card stock is cut using the Top Note Die, then stamped in Versamark with the flourish
from Everything Eleanor, then heat embossed with Silver EP.
The flower is die cut using the Fun Flowers die  with two flowers in RR and two in BG.
These are spritzed with water, crumpled,
then fastened together with a Vintage Brad, then left to dry before attaching to the card.
The Lacy Ribbon border is punched with RR card stock,
Siver 1" circles are punched and fixed to the back of the lacy border with Silver Brads.
The happy birthday (which has been stamped in Versamark using the sentiment
from Party this Way is heat embossed with melon Mambo EP on BG card.
This is then punched out using the Word Window punch
and glued on top of a punched Silver Scallop Oval.
Phew!!!
Hope she likes it!

Another Crimped card

My Craft Class ladies enjoyed making the diamond crimped card the other week and asked if we could do another - so this is what I came up with.

Colour Combo Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White.
I crimped the Whisper White square diagonally in opposite corners and used the Everything Eleanor stamp-set to stamp in the flat area remaining in the middle.
I then stamped the flowers again on a separate piece of Whisper White and then cut them out and shaped them, then stuck them on top of the original ones. I then added some colour with the blender pen and coloured the edges of the flowers with the Frost White shimmer paint. Dazzling diamonds were applied to the centres of the flowers.
Basic rhinestones added (fancy that!)
The sentiment is from a retired hostess set (Something to Celebrate)
Hope that they enjoy making this as much as I did.

Ellie's Birthday

Today is our Grand-daughter Ellie's 18th birthday (OMG!) and I wanted to make her a card that wasn't too flowery - quite difficult for me!
Once again I turned to the Hostess DSP and a Colour Combo of Rose Red and Pretty in Pink and Everything Eleanor Stampset. The E is from the Broadsheet Alphabet and the ribbon is from my stash.
Happy Birthday Ellie- love you!!

Everything Eleanor

Last week when Chris and I got together for our crafting day, we both made a different version of this card - each using the Hostess DSP Cheerful Treat and the Everything Eleanor Stampset flower. This is my version in Melon Mambo

And here is Chris's version in Wisteria Wonder
