Fancy Fold cards

Here's the penultimate .....   F is for .....  Fancy Fold cards!
Here's one that I made at Chris's (Sis-in-law) yesterday.

I have taken photos at various angles so that you can see the fancy fold
and the mechanics of the card.

Colour combo - Soft Sky, Night  of Navy and White.
Stamp set - Butterfly Basics.
Heart Border Punch.
Really enjoyed doing this one - a new design to me!

Another quick and easy card

This is a card that I have cased from my Stampin Up Mummy - Julie's blog.
I really love this card, which I think looks fabulous.

The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Gold (sequins)
The stamp set is Butterfly Basics, and the butterflies are cut using the
matching Butterflies Thinlits Dies.

And D is for Daughter

Well I haven't got a daughter - just a son,
but Emma is my God-daughter so that's near enough for me!
Her birthday was Valentine's Day and here's the card I made for her.

The colour combo is a very simple (but effective don't you agree?)
Sahara Sand and White.
Emma is stamped using the Epic Alphabet stamp set
and the sentiment "Sending Wishes your way" is from Butterfly Basics.
The flowers and leaves are from Painted Petals
The "Just because" is from a retired set, which I find really useful for many cards.
Thin strips of paper from Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper
provides the finishing touches to this card.

And B is for Butterfly

Last month, Chris (sis-in-law), Anita and myself were invited to our friend
(and my downline) Cheryl's  home to spend some time crafting together.
She had 3 lovely projects for us to make - here's one of the cards we made.

Card closed

Gate fold - opening

Inside
Colour combo is Rose Red,Wild Wasabi and Crushed Curry.
Stamp set is Butterfly Basics.
The vellum and white butterflies were cut with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.
The base butterfly in Rose Red was fussy cut after drawing round the die shape.
We really enjoyed making this card - thanks so much Cheryl!
