E is for Easel

Another suggestion that I received for the letter E was Easel card.
As it's my sister Maggie's birthday next week, I decided that an easel card
would fit the bill nicely.
I wanted something bright and cheerful, but eye catching...
Here's the result.

I love the Black and Daffodil Delight combination - think it's
quite dramatic.
The "Happy" is one of the Hello You Thinlits dies
"Birthday" is from Crazy  about You stamp set
and the TH on 60th is just the T and the H from the "Birthday" stamp.
Maggie was stamped using the Back to Basics Alphabet stamp set.
Petite Petals stamp set used for small flower then punched out with matching punch.
The Pansy Punch was used for the large flower and the centres of this were punched with
the Petite Petals punch and the Boho Blossom Punch.
I used the Circles Collection Framelits for both the scalloped and plain circles.
Hope that Maggie likes this!!

Name Badge for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the Stampin' Up UK Sale-a-bration Tour event in Leeds and my down-line
(and good friend) Carol and I are travelling together to attend this tomorrow evening.
I have made my swaps and only just finished my name badge,
which is a prerequisite for all these sort of Stampin' Up events.
Here it is, I am quite pleased with this.

Very CAS name badge, using the Back to Basics Alphabet stampset for my name
and  Endless Wishes for the snowflakes.
I used the emboss resist technique, by stamping the snowflakes  in Versamark
then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder,
I then sponged on Pool Party and Crumbcake ink on top
and buffed with a paper towel to remove excess ink.
Simple embellishments used - a thin strip of Champagen Glimmer Paper
and I coloured tiny rhinestones to co-ordinate.
Right - must get off to bed now - busy day tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Lucas

Today is our Grandson's 11th birthday, so we have been down to their house to deliver
cards and presents.  He has already been out swimming and will be going go-karting later this afternoon.
Here's the card that I made for him.

Colour combo is Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and White,
Stamp set used is Back to Basics Alphabet (Polymer)
Little Letters Thinlit used to cut the Happy Birthday letters
and the honeycomb is created using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit.
