Papaya Collage

Today I have been over to Chris's (sis-in-law) and was joined by Anita and Cheryl later and we did some communal crafting.  Here's my version of the card  we made.  When Chris posts hers on her blog, I will put a link here for you to see hers too

Colour Combo - Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.
Stamp sets French Foliage and  Papaya Collage.

French Foliage Thank you

Needed to make a thank you card today and had seen something similar to this on Pinterest.
I used French Foliage, En Francais. and Curly Cute stamp sets.
I stamped the leaves in Versamark and heat embossed with clear EP.
Then I lightly sponged on top with Primrose Petals ink. (It doesn't show up very well on the picture)
I then over-stamped using the En Francais stamp with black ink.
I matted this onto a square of Primrose Petals card stock.
I then stamped the three feature leaves in Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso.
The Modern Label punch was extended to mat the greeting on.

French Foliage

Afternoon everyone on this lovely sunny Saturday.
Just in case it rains I have already done the washing and been out in the garden for a couple of hours and now I am shattered, so I thought I would update my blog .

This is a card that I did at Christine's yesterday
the colour combo is Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Always Artichoke
And the stamp set is French Foliage.

Brother's birthday

Good afternoon everyone, hope that you are all well.  I am a happy budgie today,
because Chris (sis-in-law)  is here with me and we are crafting - just for a change!!
Here is the card that I have made for my brother - another Chris!- as it's his birthday today.
Stamp-set French Foliage, Colour Combo Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake.
The button is from a pack that was in the Spring mini - but I find these really useful so am still using them.
The Dotted scallop ribbon border punch was used for the detail on the side.
Linen thread was criss-crossed underneath the button.

Sally Jo's Inspiration Station

After seeing all Sally-Jo's creations last week at our All Day Training event (she had set up an inspiration station) it inspired Christine and me to have a go at making a man's card on a similar vein using French Foliage.
Colour Combo Vert Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
The leaves were randomly stamped in Early Espresso onto the Early Espresso cardstock, then stamped again using Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint - you can't really tell from this photo - it was a miserable day yesterday and the light was bad (as is my photography!!)
Then the leaves were stamped again in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake cardstock and cut out. I think the rest is self Explanatory

I think that I will try taking another photo later today if the sun shines at all and then re post this.

French Foliage Version 2

Here's a green version of the French Foliage Card - I'm not sure whether I like this or the pink one best!
