Happy Birthday Kerry

Tomorrow is my daughter-in-law Kerry's birthday.
Here's the card I made for her.

Kerry was stamped in Crushed Curry ink using Morning Post Alphabet
then fussy cut out.
Three happy birthdays were stamped from Banner Greetings and and again fussy cut.
Four Petite Petals were stamped and cut with the matching punch.
The background is from Gorgeous Grunge.
Basic Rhinestones used for embellishments.
Kerry doesn't blog, so I think I am safe in posting this tonight.

I would like to enter this in

A Wedding Gift for Hooley

My Daughter-in-law Kerry came up with  an idea for one of her friend's Wedding Gift.
She collected phrases and sayings associated with Hooley,
then asked me how to go about putting these together.
This is what we came up with.
We are very happy with it.

I stamped the letters in Black on White card  using the Morning Post Alphabet stamp set
and punched them using the Artisan Label punch.
We then had the mammoth task of putting these together
on a canvas which I had painted with Black Acrylic.
Simon helped us with this task, so thanks Simon - we appreciated the help.
It took us the best part of an afternoon to put this together.
We then decided to die cut the letters and numbers in White cardstock to add the date.
Think that it just finished it off nicely.
What do you think??

Barry's Birthday

Today Barry has been golfing, so whilst he has been out I have made
his birthday card.  It's not until 12th August (Grouse shooting season begins that day!)
but usually I am frantically trying to make him a card the night before.

Night of Navy and White colour combo.
Morning Post Alphabet stamp set used for name
Regals Designer Series paper Stack punched with the Hexagon punch.
The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.
The stars are punched out using Silver Glimmer Paper.
I am really pleased with this.
I can safely post this as Barry doesn't blog, so won't see it.
