Tall Skinny CAS Birthday

This is what I describe as a tall skinny card -
it's A5 folded lengthways - hence it's tall and skinny.
I am really into CAS at the moment and you can't get much more Clean and simple than this!!

It's simply three panels of Night of Navy DSP cut from the Regals DSP Stack.
These are layered onto a mat of White card stock,
These three panels are raised on dimensionals
and the greeting (from Teeny Tiny Wishes) is stamped between the panel (using a Stamp-a-ma-jig).
The Little Leaves Sizzlit die was used to cut the leaf sprigs.
There you have it - CAS Tall Skinny birthday card!!

It's that time of the week again - Wades Weekly Warm Up#17
I can't believe that we have done this Challenge for 17 weeks!!
Here's my offering for this week.
A very CAS card, but so pretty I think!
(Cased with permission from Liz Bartaby)

The colour combo this week is :
Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive.
I have used DSP from the In Colour DSP Stack (Crisp Cantaloupe)
with Crisp Cantaloupe Riffle Stretch Trim,
Little Leaves Sizzlit used to cut leaves in Old Olive CS.
2 Coral Calypso flowers, cut using Petiite Petals punch and layered on top
of each other after shaping.
Flower centre is a 1/4" circle punched in Chocolate Chip CS then shaped.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Love this colour combo Julie!!

Daydream Medallions

Todays card is one that I have made for Postcrossing- Handmade Cards
and I have sent this to Teolinda Cerdeholm, who lives in Sweden.
I will receive a card from Mia Olsson - and I don't know where she is from, but am looking forward
to receiving one from Mia.  Everyone who took part has to post their card today, so I have been off to the Post Office and I am glad to say that mine is winging it's way to Teolinda as we speak- so to speak!

A different take on this card - with a colour combo of Bashful Blue and Early Espresso
 for a different vintage look.
The flower is stamped using Daydream Medallions stamp-set ,
then cut out using the Floral frames Framelits dies.
I used the Little Leaves Sizzlit for the leaves (you wouldn 't have guessed that would you!)
The sentiment is from Tea Shoppe stamp set, the pennants and sentiment frame are from Affection Collection stampset.
Hope that you like this card Teolinda!!

Poppy Parade

Hello everyone.  I have had a lovely play this morning, making this card featuring what is supposed to be a poppy!  I am not sure about the similarity, but am pleased with the overall card.
Colour Combo: Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Old Olive.
Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder used with VV card stock and then softly inked over with a dauber and Basic Gray ink.

The leaves are made using the Little Leaves Sizzlit die and the Blossom punch is used for the poppy. I sponged around the edges of the petals with Black ink.
For the centre of the poppy, I attached stamens round a 3/4" circle of Black, and then punched an Itty Bitty flower out of yellow and inked over to give the centre detail.
Designer Frame Textured Impressions embossing folder used for the Poppy Parade Frame.
Sentiment stamped on Black using Versamark and White embossing powder.

Smiley Face flowers

Chris (sis-in-law) spotted this card on the internet earlier this month, and yesterday when we had our weekly get-together we did our own CASED version.
We used the Scallop Circle, Fancy Flower and Five Petal Flower punches, the Little Leaves Sizzlit die,and Woodland Walk DSP for the background.
Cardstock used was Night of Navy, Peach Parfait and Regal Rose.
The faces were drawn on using the Stampin Write Journaler and the Signo White ball pen and the blusher was Blushing Brise - naturally!
What do you think?
