Forever flowers in monochrome

Just for a change I have been playing with the forever flowers wheel and used versamark with white embossing powder to make the background for this card. The blossoms are made using two flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch, the leaves are from the large bird punch and a crystal brad from the Pretties kit in the centre. Am not sure whether or not you can see the effect of the embossing with it being white on white, but in reality it is stunning.
Hope that Gail likes this card!

Sunshine Sunday

Well wasn't it lovely on Sunday. The sun was shining and it was quite a Springy day. I went swimming in the morning and tidied up the front of the house by sweeping up all the fallen soggy leaves in the afternoon. I filled up the green compost bin and can't now do any more tidying until it's emptied.
With Spring in the air I felt like making some cheerful cards and this is what I came up with. Once again I used the forever flowers wheel, but used this with both Apricot Appeal cardstock and inkpad. On one of the cards I cut out a Greenhouse Garden flower to use as an embellishment and think that this looks really pretty and fresh.

Tuesday Cards

Well that's two more cards done. I have to do one for my nephew Stephen's birthday on St David's day, March 1st (He is called Stephen David!) It may take me a few days to get this one done - I need inspiration.
Tuesday Craft Class today went well - if a little lengthy. The ladies did 3 different versions of the one sheet wonder and they were all fabulous. I should have taken pictures of the finished results. I will email them and ask for piccies!!

Birthdays birthdays birthdays!!

Well I am really busy at the moment as I have several birthdays coming up shortly. I won't put names to cards, in case the people concerned read my blog, so at least they will be wondering which card they will get!
No golf today - course closeed again due to snow. I was supposed to be playing a doubles matchplay today with my golfing partner Glynis,Denise and Lynn. We are going to try and play Friday if the weather is fine - fingers crossed!
