Owl Get Well card

Last Thursday, my friend Carol found a card on Pinterest that she wanted to case for a 

Get Well Card, so when she had done it I asked if I could photograph it so that I

could case it too. I have just changed the "Bed Linen" on my version below!

Top Note Die used to cut the "bed"

Gingham Garden DSP used for the bed linen.

Punches used - Owl Builder punch, Itty Bitty flower punch,

Modern Label punch and Word Window punch, 

the Nurse's hat is made from 1/4 of a 1.3/8" punched circle.

The ribbon is from my stash of (sadly retired) Stampin' Up ribbon.

I have a few friends who are under the weather at the moment, 

so I may make a couple more of these to cheer them up!!

Banner Blast meets Gorgeous Grunge - Take 2.

Yesterday I posted my colour way of this card - today I am posting Chris's colour way.

The colours are exactly the same as mine, the same stamp sets are used, 

but we have used different colours for the base card - 

Mine was Pool Party and Chris's is Crisp Cantaloupe.

Here is another one of the 3 cards that I made at Chris's the other week.

You can see that I am really in a grunge mood!!

Colour Combo is

Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla.

Stamp sets used :  Perfectly Penned, Gorgeous Grunge and Banner Blast.

Banners cut out with the matching Banner Punch.

More play with new colours

Here's a card that I made at Chris's the other week and I had forgotten about it

We were playing with the new colour card and inks and Chris found a card to case on Pinterest.

Here's my version.

Colours -Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Baked Brown Sugar,

Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Canteloupe - cardstock and inks.

Top Note die, cut in White cardstock  and stamped using

the Hearts a Flutter Stampset .

Matching small hearts punched and glued down LHS.

Four hearts cut out (one of them trimmed down) with the matching Hearts a Flutter framelits die.

Linen Thread criss crossed over t

Top Note shape.

I am not too sure on this one, some days I like it, some days I dont -

but I can't put my finger on what I dont like!!¬

Punch Art Piano

Today I have cased a card that Christine made for Barry's birthday

It's a punch art piano.

The Top Note Die is used for the piano base and 

the keys are punched out using the Word Window punch.
The music is done with the Music Notes wheel.

The greeting is from petite Pairs.

Here's the second of three cards that I made at Christine's on Friday.

It's a case of the one she sent to Janice for her Birthday.

Colour combo is Sahara Sand, Poppy Parade and Gold.

(Although the Poppy Parade looks distinctly orange in this photo!)

Base card made in Sahara Sand stamped with Versamark and Dot, Dot, Dot stamp.

Poppy Parade Top Note die cut with flourish from Everything Eleanor

embossed with Gold EP.

Fun Flowers Bigz L Die used to make flower in SS and PP

with Vintage Brad in Centre.

Lacy Ribbon Border punched in SS with 1" PP circles underneath

and a gold brad in the centre of each.

All products are Stampin Up
