Happy Birthday wishes
I have loads of birthday cards to make this month, for ladies and fellas, so today at Chris's we tried to get a head start. I managed to nearly finish 3 - one just needs colouring in and I will post it tomorrow. The other is one that I have made before and this is the third one.
A favourite colour combo of mine is Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy - I think it looks really crisp and classy. I have used the (now retired) Charming flower spray stamp in Navy on Whisper White and cut out using the Decorative label punch. Then punched and enlarged another Decorative Label in NoN to mat the first one on.
I have used Daffodil Delight Card stock for the base card and DSP from the Brights stack, layered onto a panel of NoN. I also cut a Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border in NoN. Highlighted the finished flower with some tiny Basic Rhinestones and then stamped the sentiment from Petite Pairs. Et voila! love it!!

Cheerful Treat Card
When I had finished my pop up box card the other day, I was left with a strip of the Cheerful Treat DSP, so I decided that I would make a card with this.
I used Concord Crush card stock for the base card, and layered a piece of Whisper White on top of the strip of Cheerful Treat DSP which I had scalloped using the Scallop Trim Border.
I then made a feature panel of the flower spray from Charming, stamped in Concord Crush on Whisper White and layered this on a piece of Concord Crush.
A band of Concord Crush Stitched Poly ribbon was placed across the middle of the card with a flat Julie bow on the right hand side.
Sentiment from Sincere Salutations.
Compulsory bling of Basic Rhinestones added and voila!
Who would have thought this card could have been made from such a small scrap of DSP - it just goes to show!!

White on White
I have seen several cards made using white on white, so I thought that I would give it a go. I have used White embossing powder on a Versamarked image from the Charming stamp-set. This I have layered on White, on top of a white frame cut out after using the Textured Impressions Designer frames Embossing folder. I threaded the White ribbon over the frame sides and under the Charming image and stuck this on top of the joining line where the two different textured halves of the card meet. These were embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper and the Stripes embossing folders. Then the compulsory bling added - Basic pearls today!
You may have to zoom in to the picture to see the detail of the embossed flower.
I am quite happy with this card - so - who shall I send this one to?
If you would like to receive this card, simply leave me a comment and I will do a draw for the winner (names in hat!) and will post this out to you.

Patchwork thank yous
Here are a few more thank you cards that I have made, this time using the patchwork technique.
I stamped co-ordinating colour cards, with co-ordinating inks - in this case, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede, and used Melon Mambo embossing powder with white Craft ink for the embossed piece.
The stamp-sets used were Charming, Creative Elements, En Francais, Fine Flourish, Vintage Vogue and Medallion.
Then I cut them all with the 1.1/4" square punch, then pieced them back together randomly.
These were then matted up onto a Crumb Cake square and then layered onto a 10cm square Pink Pirouette card.

And closer up views

My friend
I have a confession to make.
Chris, our new friend Lyn and I, each made a card using the hello sentiment from the My Friend stampset along with the Charming stamp set last Friday.
I was going to post the card that I made , but I noticed that I had smudged my butterfly - so until I get the chance to redo it, you will just have to look at Chris's. (If you are a Facebook fan you may have seen Lyn's already as she really loved it.)
It was cased from the internet, but I am not sure whose blog it came from - if it's yours, please let me know so that I can credit you with it's design.

Charming
I am looking forward to our All Day Team Training in Leeds on the 14th, and for this we are all making swaps with either Spring Mini Catalogue items or Sale-a-bration items.
I have decided to do mine using the Charming stampset from the Spring Mini, but am not too sure what to do next. Here is my progress up to now.
I have used the Designer Frames Textured Embossing Folder with cardstock in my favourite colours of the moment - River Rock, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede and More mustard (inspired by the colours in the Spice Cake DSP). I have then coloured the flower spray stamp from the "Charming" stampset using Stampin Write Markers and stamped onto Very Vanilla. I then punched this out using the Extra-large Oval punch and stuch this in the middle of the frame.
I will update you on the progress of these swaps as they progress.

Spring Mini Sneak Peek
Here is a card that I made yesterday, using a new punch and a couple of new stamp-sets that you will find when the Spring mini Catalogue launches on the 4th of January.
The Colour Combo used is Pool Party and Early Espresso.
The colours have not come out as good as I would have hoped, but the light has not been too good for photos, as it rained all day yesterday.
