E is for Easel

Another suggestion that I received for the letter E was Easel card.
As it's my sister Maggie's birthday next week, I decided that an easel card
would fit the bill nicely.
I wanted something bright and cheerful, but eye catching...
Here's the result.

I love the Black and Daffodil Delight combination - think it's
quite dramatic.
The "Happy" is one of the Hello You Thinlits dies
"Birthday" is from Crazy  about You stamp set
and the TH on 60th is just the T and the H from the "Birthday" stamp.
Maggie was stamped using the Back to Basics Alphabet stamp set.
Petite Petals stamp set used for small flower then punched out with matching punch.
The Pansy Punch was used for the large flower and the centres of this were punched with
the Petite Petals punch and the Boho Blossom Punch.
I used the Circles Collection Framelits for both the scalloped and plain circles.
Hope that Maggie likes this!!

with the matching hexagon punch.
Colour combo is Pink, Black and White.
The flowers are made using the Boho Blossoms punch and the Itty Bitty flower punch.

Desk Calendar

Another quick post this evening - here's a desk calendar that I have made earlier today.
I like to do projects that my Crafting ladies can make to sell for their fundraising
and here's a pretty quick make.

You can make 3 of these from one sheet of A4 card so it's quite economical.
The background was embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.
The Calendar block was matted onto a rectangle of Midnight Muse Card stock.
The flowers were punched with the Boho Blossoms and Itty Bitty punches
wit Midnight Muse and Silver Glimmer paper.
The leaves were punched in Midnight Muse with the Bird Builder punch

Bag charm

Way hey!! Only one more sleep and then I am off to Germany for the
2012 Stampin' Up European Convention in Mainz.
We fly tomorrow at lunchtime and I am getting excited!
We each receive a bag at Convention, and as there will be 700 people there,
we all have to make something to identify our bag as our own.
I decided to make a bag charm.

I bought the key rings and the flattened bottle tops from a well known internet shop!
I then made up the little beaded gems and fastened them on.
Then I stamped  my initial and punched it out using the Boho Blossom punch
and then stuck it onto a punched 1" circle, glued it into the flattened bottle top
and stuck the clear domed cover on.
I'm quite pleased with this!
