Paper pieced Christmas tree.

Something a little different today - a paper pieced Christmas tree.

The papers are from the Trim the Tree DSP stack.
The tree is punched out of the Crumb Cake card, then embossed using the
Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Snowflake stamped in Craft White ink and sentiment in Cherry Cobbler.
( both from Endless Wishes stamp set)
This was cased from a Training swap that Carol brought to show me,
can't remember whose it was, but let me know and I'll link this to your blog!

I have really taken to this washi tape lark.

as you can see on this card that I have cased from Pinterest.

Colour combo is Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz, Silver and White.
Gorgeous Grunge, Festival of Trees and Petite Pairs stamp sets are used on this card
All is Calm Washi Tape
A Silver Glimmer paper punched star and a couple pf silver sequins and Rhinestones
embellish this design.

Cased Endless Wishes card

Here's a card that I have cased from my fellow Julie's Jem team member - Allie.

The panel of colour is stamped using just an acrylic block inked with Blackberry Bliss ink.
Really luxurious.
The snowflakes are stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with
 Gold and Silver embossing powder.
The Polymer stamp set used is Endless Wishes.
The only added embellishment is 3 gold sequins from the sequin trim.
I really love this card and have done it in different colours - I'll show you some of them later.

Northern Flurry with punched trees

Here's a card that I made with Chris the other week using the Tree punch
with paper from the Trim the Tree DSP stack and
Northern Flurry Embossing Folder,

Colour combo is Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, White and Gold.
the stars were cut using the Itty Bitty Accents star punch,
The sentiment is from the White Christmas Polymer stamp set-
can you see that I have curved the sentiment?
You can do this with the polymer stamps - very versatile!
The only embellishment was a spot of Gold Glitz Dazzling Diamonds
in the centres of the embossed snowflakes.

White Christmas

I really love this cute little stamp set - White Christmas,
it's good for those cutie cards that I like to send out to kids and friends alike.

Really quick and easy - even the snow is stamped!!
I used one of the Crumb Cake notecards for this card and stamped the trees using
Black Memento ink, then coloured the trees and banner with a blender pen and ink pads.
The snow was stamped in white Craft ink and this was also used to sponge the snow on the ground.
CAS but so cute!

Still on a roll!

Yes I am still on a roll with the Christmas card making -
at this rate I will have finished before Christmas Eve!! Lol!

It's another card using the fabulous Festival of trees stamp set and Tree punch.
You can really make quick and easy cards using these,
but they don't look quick and easy do they?
The colour combo for this cards is
Silver, White and Pool Party,
The matted white layer was debossed using the Polka Dot Embossing Folder
then I flattened out the section where the stamped sentiment was, using a bone folder.
The stamped trees were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder,
the third tree is punched out of Silver Glimmer paper - as are the stars.
The sentiment is from Bright and Beautiful.
All products are Stampin' Up and available from the current catalogues -
let me know if you would like to order anything.

Glynis's birthday

Today is my good friend and golfing partner Glynis's birthday
and here's the card I have made her.

Another CAS, but really elegant card I think.
I stamped the flourish From the retired stamp set Everything Eleanor) in Mossy Meadow.
Stamped and punched the flowers from Petite Petals in Crisp Cantaloupe,
Crimped the corners, then added the sentiment from Petite Pairs
and the Rhinestones for the flowers centres.
Voila!!
Happy Birthday Glynis.

and made a few cards.
We both made birthday cards for her grandson (my great-nephew) ,
Leo - who will be two next month.
Here's the card I made him.

The stamp set used is Zoo Babies, and I think it is extremely suitable for young children.

Another shed card.

You may recall that a couple of weeks ago we made shed cards,
a couple of ladies took their cards home to finish off and I asked them to bring
the finished cards for me to see.
Here is Janet's shed.

Shed door closed
Shed door open

Close up of inside shed

Didn't she do well!!
Great work Janet!

More Christmas Cheer - from Ann

My friend Ann came to my Saturday morning workshop last month and she
cased one of my cards - changing the colour combo.
Here it is

Ann changed the colours on this as she didn't like the writing in green -
so she used Lost Lagoon instead, with Real Red and Mossy Meadow.
Textured Impressions Filgree Frame is the embossing folder used again,
it really sets off the greeting - I think it's really classy!
Great job Ann!

Festival of Trees - again!

Yes it's Festival of Trees stamp set again!
The stamp set and matching punch make it quite easy to make very CAS
but still effective cards quickly - and I have to make a few quick cards
because of the number that I send out.

I cased this card from Pinterest, but have changed the colours totally.
Really simple colour combo - but quite classy I think - Gold and Very Vanilla
(even though in the photo it looks to be a white base card and background!)
I used Watercolour Wonder Washi tape,
The sentiment and the tree were stamped in Versamark and embossed with Gold EP.
(Sentiment from Petite pairs)
Itty Bitty Accents star punch used with Gold Glimmer paper.
Gorgeous Grunge stamp set with Gold Encore ink for the splats
and the finishing touch was 3 gold sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim.

More Endless Wishes

I really am now getting to grips seriously with my Christmas card challenge to myself!
I resolved that I would not be caught out again this year,  making masses of
Christmas cards in the first two weeks in December.
That said .... here's the latest one in the Endless Wishes series.

The colour combo is Night of Navy, White, Silver and Iridescent Ice.
The snowflakes are from the Endless Wishes stamp set and the sentiment
is from Petite Pairs, stamped in Versamark and embossed in Silver EP,
along with one of the Four Frames stamps, which was then punched out
with the Decorative Label punch.
All the snowflakes were stamped with Versamark, then
the large ones were embossed with White EP,
the medioum ones were embossed with Silver EP
and the small snowflakes were embossed with Iridescent Ice EP
The only embellishment is the White satin ribbon - I didn't think it need anything else.
I'm very pleased with tyhis little number too!!

Festival of trees

Chris is back from holiday now so we have spent the day together crafting.
Here's what we have made.

The photo really does not do justice to this card. The gold Season's Greeting
sentiment doesn't show up on this very much at all.
The colour combo is Blackberry Bliss, Gold and White.
The stamp set is Festival of Trees and the sentiment is from
Bright and Beautiful.
I really love this card!!

Endless Wishes

Back to my Christmas cards again today - did a couple more designs -
here's the first one, using the Endless Wishes stamp set.

The colour combo is Pool Party, Silver, Gold and White.
The sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamp set, stamped on one of the Four Frames ,
this in turn is punched out using the Decorative Label punch.
This is then layered onto another extended punched Decorative label.
I do love these contemporary colours, dont you?

Dale's 40th Birthday

Today is my baby Sis, Anne-Marie's Fiance's birthday.
(Hope that I have the apostrophes in the right places there!)
Here's the card that I have made for him.

A very CAS card -
Colour combo is Black, Gold and Red - on a white base card.
The frame is from the Letterpress Winter stamp set,
stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder,
as was the greeting - from For You stampset..
The letters were diecut using the Little Letters Thinlits and Gold Glimmer Paper
and the numbers were cut from red Glimmer Paper.
My photography skills don't do justice to this card, which in reality,
is very sparkly - and the red and gold look quite dramatic against the black.
(Thats why my hobby is crafting and not photography!!)
Think that Dale will be pleased to receive this anyhow!
Happy 40th Birthday Dale - hope you've had a super day..

60th Birthday card

Here's a commissioned card that I made, for my friend Jan
to send to her friend to celebrate her 60th Birthday.

I cut down the front of a Polka Dot Tag-a-bag Gift bag
and matted this onto Blushing Bride card stock, then onto a white base card.
The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and White.
Flower Shop stamp set was used for the flowers, which were then
punched using the matching Pansy Punch
The sentiments were computer generated.

August thank you cards

Sorry for the weeks absence, but I have golfed at various Golf Courses on
6 of the 7 previous days, and I am so glad that I took advantage of the good weather,
as today it's raining!!! Or is it that the sun shines on the righteous!!
I have therefore done very little crafting, but I have made my thank you cards
that I give to customers for their Stampin' Up! orders each month.

A really CAS card -
Colour combo is Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss and White.
Stampsets used : Beautiful Bunch, cut with the matching Fun Flower punch
and Flower Patch,  cut with the matching Flower Fair Framelits.
