Gift bags from envelopes
Hi everyone. Had a frantic week playing golf 4 days this week. Spent a lovely day with hubby yesterday sourcing banners, helium and balloons for my upcoming birhday bash.
Heather came over last night and we crafted for a time, and I showed her how to make these envelope gift bags. I have a coffee morning coming up in October, and we are making "Lucky Bags", so I needed to source some inexpensive gift bags. Found an article on the internet on how to transform plain envelopes of any size into a gift bag. Here are some of the results.

Bella Bleu Tri Shutter Card
Hi everyone - This was meant to be an early post this morning as I was playing golf at Hallowes golf Club today. Its their Invitation Day and I had been invited by their Lady Vice Captain Carol. I could not upload the pictures then, so have only been able to post these piccies after playing.
The weather kept fine and the company was great, sad to say the golf was indifferent!
No Matter - Todays card was inspired by a card that I saw on Sara's blog
I hope that you all like it. I really enjoyed the challenge of doing a card that took some time to complete, rather than a quickie! Used the beautiful Bella Bleu papers, Bordering blue cardstock and ink on Very Vanille (for the flowers) and Bashfull Blue taffeta ribbon. Punched out a Boho Blossom flower and a leaf from the Two Step Bird Punch, also some litle Quarter inch squares for extra embellishments.
Enjoy!
3 different views for you - these are quite difficult to photograph.

Pocket Silhouettes
Been browsing other SU Demos blogs today in search of inspiration and as usual Jenny Moors has come up trumps. I have cased this little thank you card and just altered it a little - I love the colours - Melon Mambo, Kraft and Whisper White - so clean and crisp!

Apologies
Hi everyone - just a quick line to say sorry that there is no posting today, but I have been golfing again (fancy that!), it was a friendly match with Sandall (Wakefield) Ladies, then tonight was my Thursday evening craft class. Tomorrow I am
going on our Rabbits Awayday golfing at Pontefract. Poor old Hubby will have to cook his own tea again! Will do my best to post something tomorrow evening when I get back - if I am not exhausted or seized up - its going to be rather wet tomorrow -ugh!
Bye for now - take care.

Circle Circus - One sheet Wonder
Here are a set of cards made using the Circle Circus stampset and the one sheet wonder technique (featured in Jenny Moors Blog)
here
The colours are old favourites -Chocolate Chip and More mustard plus two which are sadly retiring -Sage Shadow and Really Rust. I think that these colours really go together well and once again I will miss them. However, I am sure that we will grow to love the new colours that will be coming in just as much.

Forever flowers in monochrome
Just for a change I have been playing with the forever flowers wheel and used versamark with white embossing powder to make the background for this card. The blossoms are made using two flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch, the leaves are from the large bird punch and a crystal brad from the Pretties kit in the centre. Am not sure whether or not you can see the effect of the embossing with it being white on white, but in reality it is stunning.
Hope that Gail likes this card!

Bird on a branch in Melon Mambo
Today I spent most of the day crafting with my sister-in-law Chris.
We used the Bird On A Branch Two Step Stampset. This is another of the stampsets which have 20% off this month, and Chris loved using it so much that she is ordering it this month - too big a bargain to resist! It's usually £14.95 but now until the end of August you only pay £11.96.
We made three cards in all, using Jenny Moor's instructions, which are available to buy from Jenny's blog here
These are beautiful designs and I will be using them for my classes - aren't they the lucky ones!

Golden Trendy Trees
Here's my latest offering using the Trendy Trees Two Step stampset. Normally this set costs £12.95 but for the month of August you can buy it for £10.36 - bargain!
I have used Very Vanilla and Basic Gray cardstock. I have stamped the tree trunks in basic gray and used Versamark with Gold embossing powder for the tree foliage.
For the background I have used Champagne mist shimmer paint applied to the stamp with a dauber. I am very pleased with the effect, what do you think?
