I have a monthly Saturday morning workshop and usually have 8 ladies who come to this.
One of my ladies, Carol, (Carol D - not yesterday's Carol!) came out of hospital
only yesterday, having had an operation earlier in the week, so it was out of the question
for her to come to this month's workshop, so I made her a card and all the ladies signed it.
(A couple of the ladies also made one of these when they had seen it demonstrated!)

The colour combo is Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.
I used the baby-wipe technique again to give these beautiful 3-tone flowers,
using Real read and Daffodil Delight re-inkers, mixing the red and yellow together
to give that lovely orange tone.
The stamp set used is the free Sale-a-bration set "Bloomin Marvelous"
and you may have noticed that I am making good use of it!
The sentiment is from "Hopeful Thoughts"
As this card had to be posted I have kept it mostly flat.
Had I been delivering it personally, I would have raised the sentiment on dimensionals,
also I would have put pearls in the centre of the flowers.
Nonetheless I think that these lovely colours will cheer her up!!
This is really pretty Kate, love the colours of the flowers xxx
