Instead of sending a conventional postcard to Lucas and Lexie, from our holiday
(they don't do them from Callosa De Segura which is where we stayed
- 25 minutes from Alicante, nearest town Elche)
I decided to make them one when I got home and here it is.

I used the Post Card stamp for the reverse of this postcard and stamped it in Island Indigo,
Then after masking off the patterned area and border, I stamped the flower from
Blooming with Kindness in Crushed Curry on the right hand side.
For the front I stamped and punched out (using the Pansy punch) 5 flowers
using the Flower Shop stamp set, inking them in Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry,
Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Wisteria Wonder.
I then punched flower middles in matching card stock with the 1/2" circle punch.
I then used some old (Retired) rub ons from my stash to spell "hello"
on the flower centres. The stalks/leaves are made with the Bird Builder punch.
I'm really pleased with this.
I know it's a bit girlie for Lucas, but great for Lexie!
what a beautiful flower card Kate.
