Cased Lighthouse U fold card!

This card is shamelessly cased from my Stampin Up sister Amanda's blog.
She has done a whole series of cards using this fold as the basis
for some amazing projects - do pop round and see her work,
you won't be disappointed, I promise!
I did tell Amanda that I was going to do this card and she
will be waiting to see how I got on.
The sentiment is not perfect, but I shall keep this as a prototype
and do the card again as and when I find the right person
and the right occasion for sending it.

Front view

Slightly angled view from above to show the mechanics of the card.
The stamp set used is High Tide
and the background papers are from the Serene Scenery DSP Stack
which is now retired - I don't have much of it left,
so was well pleased to find the sea/sky-scape paper.
Thanks Amanda for letting me case your design -
what would I do without you!!

  7. Well I wasn't kept waiting for long Kate.... great make with the papers the right way round! I had a blotch with the greeting too... but light sanding and a wash under the tap got rid of mine! Thanks for sharing and linking!
