Elizabeth's birthday

Today is the birthday of one of my golfing friends from my old
Golf Club, Sandhill, Elizabeth

Here's the card I made for her

I found out some old Stampin' Up! Ink and card to make this card.
The colour is called Lavender Lace, and it is probably one of the first colours I bought
way back in 2009 - How many of you can remember this colour?
Its the same design that I made recently using Heartfelt Blooms
The sentiment is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous, stamped on a White oval
Stitched Shape Framelits die cut, on top of a scalloped Layering Ovals Framelits die cut.

Happy Birthday and have a great day Elizabeth!!

And its Barbara's birthday today!

Yes, February is a busy month for birthdays
here's my friend and crafter, Barbara's card

These cards are really useful when you don't have much time, and the stampset
is so easy to use.  One of my friends thought it was at least 2 step stamping,
and was amazed at the definition for a single impression .
The colour combo this time is Blushing Bride.

Have a lovely day Barbara.

Richard's Birthday

You remember that Chris and David went to stay with their son Richard
in Australia for a month recently, well it's his birthday today, so
I just had to make my favourite Nephew a card,
and here it is!!

Don't you just love those cute little animals - they are from
the "We must Celebrate" stamp set and I really enjoyed
colouring these in with my Stampin Blends.
The sentiment is Stylized Birthday and the name is cut out
using the old faithful (but now retired) Little Letters Thinlits.

Happy Birthday Richard, have a great day!!

Happy Birthday Eileen!!

There does seem to be quite a few February birthdays -
today is Eileen's -a crafting friend of mine.
Here's a simpler version of the card I did for Jo the other day,
but I think I prefer this version.

This is simply stamped directly onto a 6" x4" card,
coloured in this time with Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive  Stampin Blends.

Which do you like best -the simple one, or the matted and layered one?

Happy Birthday Jo

Here's the card that I made for one of my three friends who are all called Jo.
This Jo lives in a little village near me called Pilley.
(as opposed to my golfing friend Jo and my ex work colleague Jo-
whose card you will see on the 1st March)

This uses the Floral Statements stamp set, stamped in Memento Black ink
the coloured in with Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin Blends.
I  really enjoy colouring in, but don't profess to be any good at it!!

Anyhow Jo - have a super birthday - enjoy!!

Emma and Nicola's birthday today!!

Today is the birthday of my God-daughter who is also my niece, Emma

Here's her card in Perfect Plum and White

and its also the birthday of my nephew Stephen's wife, Nicola,
so I made her the same card as Emma, but in a different colourway Black and White

This uses the Flourish Thinlits dies, the Floral Phrases stamp set
and the sentiment is from Birthday Blossoms

This is another one of my go to cards that don't take too long to make.

Happy Birthday and have a great day both of you!!

5 year Anniversary as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator

My good friend and downline, Mavis has been a demonstrator
with Stampin' Up FIVE years today, so to mark the occasion
I made her this card.

I stamped the central motif HELLO in Memento Black ink using
the Floral Statements stamp set.
Then stamped the Happy 5th Anniversary in Pumpkin Pie
using the Number of Years stamp set.
The flowers were coloured in Pumpkin pie and the leaves in Old Olive.
One of the Dies from the Flourish Thinlits was used for the bottom right corner.

HAPPY 5th STAMPIN UP ANNIVERSARY Mavis!!

Happy Birthday Molly

Today is Molly's birthday, she is an old friend of ours who very kindly
used to put us up when we went to Ladies nights in Mansfield
when her husband George was alive.
Sadly he passed away a couple of years ago, but we still exchange birthday
and Christmas cards with Molly to keep in touch.

Another version of the same card using Heartfelt Blooms,
but the colour is Crisp Cantaloupe (retired now) with matching ribbon.

These are really quick cards to make and I needed some quick!!

Happy Birthday Molly have a lovely day!!
