Sorry Heather

Yes I know that I said I would post the last in the series of the snowflakes cards (my night of navy ones), but I am just totally cream crackered after an exhausting day. It was Invitation Day at the Golf Club today, and I played with my good friend Andy - quite well actually. So well that Andy and I won!!!
Barry played with his friend Phil, but didn't win anything. Andy and I both won beautiful handbags, complete with bagcharms. I had chosen the prizes, so obviously loved my prize, and Sis-in-law- Christine had made me the matching bagcharms.
Any how, we had a meal after the game, then we had the presentation.
Once back home, I just flopped into the chair, watched Casualty, and haven't moved much since!
Promise that I will post the piccies tomorrow!!

Three Serene Snowflakes cards

Do you remember the Serene Snowflakes box that I made - well here are three cards that fit wonderfully inside it. Again these are done using the instructions that are available from Jenny Moors
(Thank you Jenny these are really lovely). Don't know whether you can see it but the trio of snowflakes are stamped in Champagne Shimmer mist and it really finishes off these classy cards.

Slider Card

Here is the card that Christine and I have made today. I printed off the pattern some time ago from the Internet, but have no idea where it came from. When we came to cut and try to fit the slider card inside - we had no instructions! So the old thinking cap had to be donned, but we managed to make it both fit and work.
Colours used are Pale plum and Rich razzleberry, stampsets are Simply Said, Circle of Friendship and Stem sayings.
This is the card closed

And this is it open.

SU Workshop at Thorpe Hesley

Last Wednesday I did a workshop at Thorpe Hesley Community Centre with a lovely group of crafters, some of which I had met a couple of months ago, when we made the little birdhouse.
This time we did a punched animal workshop and the ladies mmade a variety of these.
As you have seen most of the cards already, I won't bore you by posting these again, but instead will post the piccies of the lovely ladies who had a fabulous time punching last Wednesday.

July Impressions

I needed some creative inspiration today, so after reading this months copy of "Impressions", I decided to have a go at this simple make and take example using the Vintage Vogue stampset.
Added a couple of cream flatback pearls from the Pretties Kit for the flower centres.
Am very pleased with this. Will do this at my next Open House/Workshop!
