First Christmas card

I have noticed that a few bloggers are well on the way with making their Christmas cards,
so I decided that I had better get on the band wagon and join them.
Here's the first.

I used the Woodland Textured Impressions embossing folder which featured in the
Autumn Winter catalogue, but is making Stampin Up history by returning
(after being retired) to the Annual catalogue in June this year.
So if you didn't get it last year, you may well wish to buy it this year!
I used the Christmas Greetings Thinlits dies to cut the word "peace" with Gold Glimmer paper
and used the Jolly Holly Greetings stamp set for the rest of the sentiment.
I used Wink of Stella on the trees for a subtle shimmer.
Right - only 97 more to go!

  1. Hi Kate this is a gorgeous Christmas card. I have started mine but this month has been just too busy to make any. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  2. This is beautiful Kate. I really love that embossed background. I haven't made any Christmas cards yet, will be last minute as always I would imagine! Cathy x

  3. Had to smile Kate. Welcome to the Christmas card club hahahaha. You're on your way now. A great design. I love the embossing folder you've used. Can't wait to see the next one x

  4. A wonderful Christmas card Kate. The embossed background looks fabulous xx

  5. Lovely Christmas card Kate! You've panicked me a bit as I haven't made a start yet & it's only 9 months away! Lol
    Dawn xx

  6. Beautiful embossing on this card, I just loved the sparkly finish on it

Many thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment, I really do appreciate it and love reading them all.
